We made this one-of-a-kind hand embroidered 'art piece' cushion for our first 'Wattle for Wildlife' fundraiser that was inspired by a story in 'The Wayzgoose - Forgotten Celebrations of Ballarat' from the Ten Delightful Tales book series written by Doug Bradby. Beginning on Wattle Day on the 1st of September, 1913, some ladies in Ballarat would sell sprigs of wattle and later badges to support local charities. We asked creatives to join us in using wattle as inspiration in their work and to donate a percentage of any sales to a local wildlife rescue.

When possible we prefer to use 'new old stock' thread for our embroidered pieces.

Care Instructions for Cushion Cover : Cold gentle hand wash inside out. Do not soak, wring, rub, bleach, or tumble dry. Dry flat. Warm iron on reverse side while slightly damp. Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid fading.
