Beautiful Rina with the title 'Queen of Ellis Park.' She sustained horrific injuries while being kept as a pet (*Primates Are Not Pets!) then when rescued had to have her arms amputated. She has adapted well to her disability, using her feet to eat, climbs using her teeth and legs, and has been described as a zippy little monkey who runs as fast as a speeding train and jumps like superwoman! Rina has also become a perfect foster mum to baby primates. She is a real little supermonkey!
Our 'Viva La Rina' Art Tile was inspired by this amazing little monkey, fruit platters served to the primates at Ellis Park, and vintage ceramic tiles featuring fruit. Perfect to hang in your kitchen or dining room.
