Koja, an elderly pig-tailed macaque was rescued after spending twenty years locked in a small side street cage. Koja was denied food and would rely on passers-by to give her food and water. Not suitable for release due to her age and a spine deformity caused by the small cage, Koja will spend the rest of her life at Ellis Park Wildlife Sanctuary enjoying all the delicious food she could ever ask for, including her absolute favourite, corn!
Our 'Koja Loves Corn' greeting card is from an original watercolour illustration by Natalie Hrymakowski and was inspired by this sweet, gentle soul, her love for corn, and vintage valentine's day cards. A perfect card for those who celebrate valentine's day, those who think it is all a bit corny but celebrate it anyway, or a fun birthday card to give a friend who loves their corn on the cob.
