Koja, an elderly pig-tailed macaque was rescued after spending twenty years locked in a small side street cage. Koja was denied food and would rely on passers-by to give her food and water. Not suitable for release due to her age and a spine deformity caused by the small cage, Koja will spend the rest of her life at Ellis Park Wildlife Sanctuary enjoying all the delicious food she could ever ask for, including her absolute favourite, corn!

Our 'Koja Loves Corn' Art Tile was inspired by vintage ceramic tiles featuring corn, and our greeting card with the same design, which was inspired by Koja, her love for corn, and vintage valentine's day cards. A fun art piece to hang in your kitchen or dining area.

Please note that as this ceramic item is handmade, minor imperfections may have naturally occurred in its creation.

All our ceramics are packaged with reused packing material.
